what tires match my 245/50/17s?
i have a 1999 camaro with the ground effects all around . i bought ( wish i hadnt) 245/50/17 for the back and dont know what to get for the front now for it to look right. when i bought it it had 275/40/17s all around but the ride was so rough. any suggestions please ??

245/45 17s are a good choice to match the odd size you have in back (I didn't even know they made tires in that size).
For future reference, while a lighter tire with a taller sidewall is going to improve ride quality somewhat, the type of tire is even more important. Brands with super-stiff sidewalls (BFG G-force variants) are always going to ride rough.
Then there is the question of shocks. If you're still riding on the original DeCarbons, no tire in the world can correct for the harshness those shocks are transmitting into your cabin.

can you just get rid of the oddballs? are they already mounted? if not maybe you can return them
I run Nitto 275/40r17 fronts and 285/40r17 rears. Ride isn't really much more rough than it was with 15" wheels with lots more sidewall. You might have just had some stiff 275s before.
