Best rear tires for Z06 OE wheels on the street?

Best rear tires for Z06 OE wheels on the street? Right now my car has on it for both street and track use:
245/45/17 Michelin Pilot
275/50/15 Mickey Thompson e.t. streets
Race Star 15x10 (7.25) backspacing RCE-92-510254DP
Race Star 17x9.5 (92-795253DP)
I'm wanting to move up to a 28" tire for track use only so my options are:
Buy another rear set of race star 92's RCE-92-510254DP for $412 shipped and throw some 28" slicks on them. Maybe HOO-18150D06, and just keep running what I have now when on the street.
Sell the ET streets I have on the car now which are very new and buy 28" slicks on the rear for track use only and buy a set of 17x9.5 Z06 OE wheels with 275/40 Firehawks on them for use on the street.
Can 275/40 Firehawks handle 650 hp on the street? If not what about Nitto NT555R Extreme Drag 315/35R17? Not sure if they make a 17 that can be put on those Z06 wheels that fits that will hook like 275/50/15 Mickey Thompson e.t. street on the street?
