Question OE wheels C7 Z06

ok I have done a ton of research and I cant seem to find the answers I'm looking for so here it goes....... I was driving on Weld Pro Stars big and little but since I DD my car and the front runners have caused me some issues I'm switching to these wheels I already bought the OE C7 Z06 wheels for the front and used the 17" size along with 265-40-17s up front now I'm thinking about buying the 18s for the rear so my question is do I need to use a spacer and will I have any issues running the Nitto Drs in the 305-35-18 size? will it fit with any issues I have already rolled the fenders and beat up the inner fender and have jeep bump stops so any info is appreciated

That is a tight fit on the inside. Probably rub in tight, hard corners. With drag radials that probably isn't your thing though. If you don't know exactly what you want in a backspacing dimension, it is always better to go too much than too little. You can always shim them out, can't move them in!

When you ask will it throw off the rev limiter for the tune, are you meaning to ask will it throw off the speedometer? If so, yes it will if the speedo is calibrated for a different tire height

no I'm talking about the shifts itself because if the tune was originally set up for 3.23 gears and stock height 275-40 tires and there was never an issue and now with the 4.10s and taller tire I'm having hell at WOT

I wish we could tell you the answer you are looking for but all we can say is that the 17 and 18's will fit a stock vehicle with the proper tire size's of 265 front and 295's in the rear. I know its not what you want to hear but it's all we can offer as far as fitment goes.

i ran 305/35/18 nitto dr's in the past and am currently running that same size toyo r888 on oe c5 deep dish wheels which are also 56mm offset. At stock ride height i had no issues however now im slightly lowered in the rear due to running prothane cobra isolators in the rear and i did have some rubbing. I put a 1/4 spacer and had to hammer the wheelwells a little and now its fine

I ran 315/30-18 Hoosiers, and only rubbed in tight dips slightly. And I'm lowered 1.5
