Swapping a 8.8 with the factory ford brakes from a mustang into my 2001 trans am. From what ive seen in threads relating to the swap a 15x10 with 5.5 back spacing will work and clear the brakes but id like to use a 15x8 with 4.5 back spacing up front. Im looking at some ebay wheels (vision nitro) for a cheap temporary set up and was curious what went into it aside from grinding the calipers. How much grinding is necessary to make it fit and does this compromise the caliper?Im sure its a relatively common question but a search didnt yield much info. Thanks in advance.
