Default Recommend me a street tire...can't hook

I'm running 275/35/18 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 with 4.11 gears on a 6 speed manual with 411 rwhp. Can't hook to save my life.

Will Michelin Pilot Super Sports be much better or should I go to a drag radial? What about the Nitto NT555 G2 or 555R DRs?

This is my daily driver that I put 10,000 miles on per year.

With 10k per year I'd switch to a 555R. It would be the best compromise IMO

i just threw a set of 555Rs on my 600+ hp camaro and ive never felt it hook like it does now on the street. Not sure about mileage as i just put them on and the car sees less then 1k miles every year anyhow.

Are any of you guys running the new G2 tires? Half the guys I talk to say the G2s are awesome while the other half say the PSS's are better all around for traction and in wet weather.

I'd recommend the 555R DR's also. The compound isn't as soft as other DR's but they seem to hook great in hot weather. Not sure how the temps are year round in you location.

Temps at night when we go to "Mexico" are in the 50-60 range where I am.

555R or Toyo Proxes TQ. If you care about handling and don't want to deal with any potential unwanted sidewall flex, go with the Toyo R888.
