Default How do Hoosier QTP's hook for stick shift cars?

Looking for someones experience with Hoosier QTP's. I have MT ET Drags on my car and love them however, another set up I am working on is going to be limited to a 16x7.5" rim. . . That said I have narrowed it down to qtp's or M&H cheater slicks. Looking for a bias ply to eliminate the shock of a radial. The car is making 700hp/680tq to the tires so really two questions.

Would a 26 or 28" be better? Running a 3.55 rear gear.

QTP's for a 26" tall and 16" rim only come 9" wide would that be enough to hook well at the track.

If anyone has experience with the 26x9 16" rim QTP I would love to hear how the tire performed. If you have any questions about the set up let me know.

Thanks all,

QTPs are great tires, they are basically a dot slick. Id go as tall as the combo will allow, it makes a bigger contact patch.

No concern with the 3.55 gears and a taller tire robbing some 60' and tq?

Toss up with gearing and being a stick car. Stick car will respond better to taller. If we contact patch. So if he actually launches aggressively it would probably better with a taller tire.
