285-35-18 to big for front tires? What size rears?
Hey guys I have a 02 SS and right now it has some aftermarket deep dish SS wheels on it. It has 275-35-18 on fronts now. And 285-40-18 in the rear.. I have a new set of 285-35-18 and was wondering if those will work ok on the front? If so what should I run in rear? 285-40-18 again??
What is the width of those wheels? You can go up to 285's in the front with a 9" wheel. In the back, 285x18 will work. I have 285/17 9" wheel in front and 315/17 10.5" wheel out back. Hope this helps.
I bought them use but I think there 18x9 or 9.5 and 18x10 or 10.5.. urs are 315 what 17? What's the middle number on fronts and rear?? Are u lowered? Rubbing?
I would step up to a 295/35 rear tire and put the 285/35 on the front. sometimes there will be a stamp of the wheel size in the inner barrel of the wheels so you could check that too to get the sizes

The fronts are 285/40/17's and the rears are 315/35/17's.
