how big of a tire can I fit with Wolfe mini-tub?
1999 F-Body. I already have the mini-tub kit, just waiting for more stuff so my buddy and I can start playing with the car.
I was looking at Toyo Proxes 345/40r17, and M/T 345/35r18, but I just stumbled across the ACR Viper tires at 355/30r19. I like the idea of having tires that will last more than a couple of years, so 355 street tires that are not quite 2x the price of 345 drag radials might be a real consideration.
Would 355 tires fit under a Wolfe Racecraft mini-tub?
I know I need wider wheels, and other suspension stuff. That is already part of the plan. I already plan to have my wheels widened, or purchase new wheels, and (if needed) have them widened.
I already have the drivetrain to handle 600ish torque.
Yes, part of this is wanting big *** tires, cause I think it would look cool.

The same size tires without the mini tub......will fit. Mini tubs are not needed.
I have 335 Mich Pilot Sports on 18 x 12.5 rims. Offset LCAs. 2 hours total for both sides to cut some metal out and weld a steel plate in.
345's will fit also.
I did all the test fitting with my 335 tires mounted. I just need to get home so I can weld my steel plate in. Thats it......

I'll swap the two rear rims on good weather days and use the sticky tires.....
The Pilot Sports have a very good tread wear rating (I think like 220) and being 335 they will also get pretty good traction in dry....and great traction when its wet. And they should last me a good 5 years. I'm only home in the USA about 6 months a year.
I got them in Europe, because they are pretty much unavailable in the USA in size 18". I paid like $250-$300 each.......can't remember exactly.....and they charged me $140 to ship them to Lauderdale from England. A STEAL........ They are still available in England and other places in Europe. I'll probably buy a couple more sets and store them.
