First post guys, so don't destroy me. I have a 2002 Ws6 . I bought the c5 wheels 17x9.5 fronts and 18x9.5 rear. Dropped my car at the shop so he could put my tires on. 275/40/17 and then 285/35/18. Shopped called me and told me the rear will not spin with these on? I thought I did my homework with searching on here correctly but did I miss something? Need help with this?

First thing to check is whether the rear tires are rubbing the bump stops while the rear end is unloaded. If so, you have a decision to make about their removal/relocation.
