Can you tell if a tires has been mounted? Here's the deal, bought a set of MT ET Street R's from Summit.
They were mounted on a factory WS6 rim and then unmounted 3 days later. Never bolted to the car. Zero street use.
I was wanting to return them but see that Summit won't accept any wheel/tire that's been mounted.
Other than the lube they use to mount tires, how would they ever be able to tell that it was mounted if I started a return.
The tires are literally unused.
