What is the widest tire to put on a 18X9.5" wheel?
I have a widebody kit on my 1990 E34, and I'm getting the 18" M parallels style 37. unfortunately the widest the rears come in is 9.5"... I need to know if I can get a 275 or 285 safely on a 9.5" wheel. really need to fill the back fenders out. let me know thanks!
the only other options I have for wheels (I wanna keep period correct) is the MK Motorsport MK1, AC Schnitzer type 1, those both come in 18X11 for the rears, and those would be perfect, but they are at least $3k for the set, and are very difficult to find, plus I love the look of the M-Pars. Is there any companies out there that maybe make a replica Style 37 but with a wider rear wheel? Is these tires on this article helpful: https://drivingpress.com/best-tires-for-toyota-sienna/

Launching!
275 is the recommended size for a 9.5 wide wheel. If you go to tirerack or any tire website you can check out their charts they have. 275 or 285 will be fine either way.
