Nitto 555R2 305/45R17 Looking at upgrading my rear tires, looking to see if anybody has had any luck running these or has any pictures of them on their car. Thanks! |
installed today on my 1968 pontiac catalina, 245/35/20 front, 275/35/20 rear. |

The new 555R2 are great. They perform as good, if not better than the nt05r does, plus the wet road performance benefit. |
I have Nitto 555 G2s on the front of my SS, and 555R2s on the rear, and so far I've managed a decent 1.82 60' time with a stick shift. They simply hook up. My car is 4000 lbs. race weight, and is mild with only a cam and bolt ons, so I'm sure it could be quicker off the line with more power. You will definitely be happy with these tires. |
Has anyone actually run them on 17x11s on an F-Body and had them fit? Thats my biggest concern. |
