Question about wheel and Dr's

Just wondering whats the best size rim for daily driving. I would be looking to run DR's and was wondering if 17's would be too big? I don't think they would be but just making sure. Also, I read the tire calculator in the stickies and I was wondering what size tire I should run with the DR's if I'm keeping the car stock height, etc. Thanks.

Whats on the car right now. If you do 17x9's get a 275/40/17 nitto drag radial. If you run a 17x11 in the rear run a 315/35/17 nitto drag. You can also lower the car safey with these tires
