Default question about tire size

Ok guys I am getting ready to order some prostars for the back of my car. I am not sure which tire size and rim to get though. I am getting some weld prostars and I am torn between a 275/60/15 on a 15x8" rim and a 295/65/15 on a 15x10" rim. What do you guys think? This will be a MT DR by the way

Thanks for your input, I am just concerned with the ride height, I am going to be jacked up pretty high in the back right?

go with a 275/60/15 dr, which is similar to a 28x10.5x15 slick type tire. you don't need the extra 2in of rim. a lot of guys including myself have the 15x8 prostars and run some pretty quick times with them.

yea i'm sort of wondering about that tire height too.. i'm going to be running 15x8's.. should i get the 275/50/15's or the 275/60/15's.. which one will give me the best traction? or will either one be just as good? thanks and sorry for jacking the thread.. but i was also just wondering abou the tire height..
