Question Can Someone Tell Me What Kind Of Tire This Is?

I know BFG makes it but as far as the tire itself which one....................
and does anybody know if it has a good rep. on the street or just for drag?

thats a g-force drag radial. hooks really well, wears really fast. would be fine for dry weather, but i wouldn't want to get caught in the rain with them

There are two different tread designs: traditional and new tread. That one is the new tread design - slightly worn from the looks of it.

I would only use them for the strip. And, yes, for DOT tires they are one of the best.

but what sucks is that they dont sell them in many sizes yet.... like no 275-40-17 yet?




WTF....

ive been trying to get some for like 6 months.... just gotta wait for BFG to make that size...... i cant wait!

you can find'em on tire rack but the sizes ar limited.... the ones you see are 18"

I'm running the 295/35/18 on a 10.5 wheel and they are AWESOME!!!!!!!!! Hold great and so far havent' worn real bad. I ain't driving them in the rain though! Some guys are getting 7500 miles on them, but if I can get 5K I'll be perfectly happy with them as there only purpose in life is to hook on Saturday night!

Man those tires SUCK in the rain.....tried it once and I was spinning like a ****...wasn't even pressing on the gas hard either......however I really like them over Nittos at the track....actually I think they are much better than nittos

Tirerack lists all of the current sizes that are available in that tire - FWIW

Yep........
Cutting 1.52-1.55 60's on my 97' with 345/30/18s


These have 1800+ hard miles with over 50 1/4 mile passes...

and
1.72 60's on my 00' vert with 275/35/18s


Very sticky in the dry.............very challenging in the wet

Hydroplaning is the issue......no grooves for water removal.
Other than that ok for lower speed IMHEO
