Default WS6/SS with17sWhat size is your spare?

Hello yall i upgraded my stock 16x8 rims to 17x9.5 and 17x11. I was curious on what size was the factory spare on cars that came with 17x9s from the factory. My spare tire size is 135/60/16. Will it be ok to run this size spare tire with the 17s incase of a accident?

Oddly enough that' s not quite true, I only wish I wouldn' t have found out the hard way. I had a blowout and had to put the donut on. Went to put on the spare, only to find out it too had blown. Made a phone call to borrow a spare out of my aunt' s 94 Z28 or 01 V6 Vert., and both of those spares were on a 15" rim and WILL NOT fit an 01-02 V8 cars (I' m not sure what else they won' t fit).

Not sure how small the spare is,but I think that you're supposed to run the spare on the front if possible, and put one of the front tires on the rear. If the spare is a good bit smaller than the other tire on the rear, you can burn up the posi b/c one side will be spinning faster than the other. Just a thought.

I' ve had my spare on the front more than once, and everytime I turned I heard some sort of grinding sound. It also caused my ABS INOP light to come on, after a certain amount of time running sustained speeds of 35+. Not sure what was up with that.
