My car with 315's?

I have stock ride height, all i have done is take the rear isolators out which lowered it alittle but not like lowering springs.im looking at a 17x11 with a 50mm offset..Will have to do anything to make these fit?

Ive searched high and low on here, cant seem to find the answer..
Thanks

you'll probably have to do a BFH mod and roll the fender lip

Read the "Does This Fit?" sticky . . . :bang:

i did read the sticky thread, didnt find what i was looking for..Thanks for reminding me. it doesnt say anything about having to do the BFH mod but we will see.

I have 17x11 Zr1s w/ the 50mm offset in back and have absolutely NO rubbing problems at all. I didn't have to massage the fender well or roll my fenders. My car is even lowered with Hotchkis springs. You will be fine at stock ride height.

Hi Folks
Just installed ZR1 17"X11" rim with BFG DR 315/35X17 and I had to use the BFH and cut away the bumper stop (BS) otherwise the rim will hit the BS when you jack the car up. As I mentioned before the the sheet metal moved very easy and not a problem but the heavy metal didn't - the BFH helped but I did not like hitting the car. It appears not every car is built the same.

You didn't read very well . . .

17"x11" Wheels

ZR-1 Style for Camaro +50 mm (Known as Grand Sport offset)
ZR-1 Style fo Firebird +36 or +50 mm The wheel well on the "bird" is a little wider.

American Racing TT-2's +45 mm

With 17"x11"s there is always a possibility of needing the BFH and/or fender rolling mods with 315s. If lowered, an Adjustable Panhard Bar becomes a virtual necessity. Some have used the +38 offsets with an 11" wheel but it does stick outside the fender and is definitly not recommended on lowered vehicles. +50 and +56 are the two most common. +50 is the better fit (for the ZR-1 replica).

. . . . .
