Default Street RadiMickey Thompson ET als 275/40/17 *what do you think of these?*

Okay I bought these tires and thought they were going to be sweet because of the reviews. They feel like I'm driving on slicks (*** end goes left and right all over the place). I went to the track on Sat Apr 16th at Quaker City Raceway. They would not hook AT ALL. I love the BFG Comp T/A DR's (315/35/17's) Those hooked like crazy, maybe cus I have 4.56's and a Centerforce clutch. I just dropped the clutch around 2800 and just spun like crazy, I ran an 11.97@116.39 with a 1.86 60' which was a little worse than last year with only a lt's, lid/filter, and dr's.

Has anyone else had problems with these tires? I went 5 runs from 40psi, 20psi, 15psi, 10psi and 8psi. The best 60' time was from 8psi. I wish they still made the Comp T/A dr's I prolly would buy 10 pairs of them... I dunno about the GForce T/A's that replaced them.

****, he isn't doing something right.. Those tires WORK!!! We have broken alot of parts on em at the track and the street. I broke an axle in a mustang with a 8.8 rear end, next weekend out we broke the other axle, then a friend of mine busted his TKO Transmission on the street with these tires..

In order for them to work, YOU HAVE TO HEAT THEM UP ALOT!!! They are just like a slick and they need lots of heat in order to work.. Trust me..

Oh yeah, the "EZ Street" class in the OUTLAW 10.5 racing division use the MT ET Street Radials and nothing else.. And they are running mid-low 5's in the 1/8th mile and dragging the bumper off stock style suspension cars with the 325/60/15's... If they didn't work BFG wouldn't have outlawed them from the FunFordWeekend and NMRA drag radial class that they sponser..
