Anyone else have eagle 185's

anyone here have eagle 185's? I think theyre a cool budget wheel, and they almost look C6ish... I've never seen them on any other camaro in person... and only 1 other time in a picture.

Click my sig to see what they look like on my car.

Hey Loochy... Matt (user1101) just ordered a set for his car. He should have them on soon. :)

i believe seeing that Eagle wheels come in a max width of 8 inches. that probally why you do not see many people withe them. Everyone wants to run at least a 275/40/17 when going up to a 17 inch wheel. :drive:

they look nice, but i think what he said above is correct. remind me of the ford lightning wheels

Loochy88 May 2, 2005 01:36 PM

thats cool hawgs, id like to see those when he gets em on.

and about them only being 8 inches, that bothered me at first, but i figured 245's would be wide enough for what i need right now. can you run 275's on a 8 inch rim? i thought you could...

00NBMCamaro May 2, 2005 03:17 PM

no 275's will not fit on a 8 inch wheel

most people get wider wheels to avoid the "pizza cutter" look that F bodies have stock. but anything is an improvement over stock wheels and those will look good on Matts car

eh, i got my 245 sumitomo htrz's for 300 bucks, so i wont complain. they look wide enough for me. 255's next time though. i think thats as wide as i can go on an 8 incher.
