SSR GT3's

Looking for pics of SSR GT3's. If possible: 19" satin finish on a black t/a :D

Tire rack has'em in 18x9.5 in the bright satin, and they're not exactly easy to find. Only pic I've seen of them on a fbody was on a purple T/A and he had a gold-looking finish instead of satin. I'd love to get these in a chrome or polished aluminum finish heh. Let me know if you have any advice on where to get'em too.

Thanks for any help.

Niiice. This was the pic I'd seen, but the rims were gold in that one. Then again, it had Benz headlights as an example of good fixed ta headlights, so that was probably photoshopped. Are those 18's or 19's?

Redy2Go WS6 May 10, 2005 11:02 PM

yeah that was one that i photoshopped a while back, i just like playin around with different concepts and stuff. ;) they are 19's

im trying to buy these at americas tire co. and they are calling SSR direct and SSR is telling them that they only make this wheel in 18x9.5 !!!!

What the hell!!! I want to do a staggered fitment like this guy about with the bitchen looking 19"s.

Razzak or Redy2Go, what are the offsets on those? They look good, almost the same as the AZA Z-1's

di0ck Aug 24, 2006 11:53 AM

to the guy above me....
very nice car!!!

u confuse me with you post though

dont you understand that the AZA's are the knockoffs of the SSR's?

and i think the better question to ask would be WHERE TO FIND THESE WHEELS? because who cares about the offset if they dont make them in that size anymore!

i love that guys wheels too, i love the staggered look he achieved. id buy the same damn wheels if they could be found!!

Those wheels are nice. You can order the AZA Z-1s from www.wheelmax.com. They are currently sold out of the 9.5" wide rims tho. They are very popular with the GTO guys (i almost bought a set for my goat, but went with Ruff Racing instead).

FYI: The Z-1s come in a 40mm offset for the front and 45mm for the rear.

No I did not know that the AZA's were an SSR knock off. So you are saying that the SSR's are not made in the 18's anymore? Thats sucks

So basically the Z-1's come in the same sizes and offsets as the SSR's??

Can you send me some pics of your Ruff Racing wheels along with size and offset info?
Thanks
email is jgese@sehinc.com or just pm me

wheelmax probably bought up most of the AZA's when they heard they were being discontinued... they only have the 8.5 width... i might run those in the front if they had a 10" width for the back.... if they had 9.5 and are sold out of them, they probably will never come back in stock.

ssrs are still available but ONLY in 18" x 9.5" ... and not anything wider or bigger... like the 19"s this guy has...

fenix99 Aug 28, 2006 03:19 PM

um....i have 19x8.5" and 19x9.5" aza Z-1 wheels sitting in my garage for my T/A(waiting to paint the car)... lol just so u know..i really dont know what sizes are still available for the goat but i ordered mine not too long ago and they didnt have a problem getting the 9.5"...i think they had more of a problem with color choice(painted black, silver, etc) my wheels are black, polished lip, and chrome rivets....and yes i still have NOT put 'em on :eyes: :(

fenix99 Aug 28, 2006 03:21 PM

i think the lip on the SSR will be bigger too cuz my AZA's came in 2" lip front, 3" lip rear...but the lips on the wheels dont look all that big in my hands like off the car, i guess i'd have to see it bolted on to the car to make my final decision on whether i like them enough to keep them or not :eyes:

Yo-EL - Are those a polished lip or chrome?

Andros Sep 1, 2006 02:03 PM

SSR GT1s arent being produced anymore, when they were they were 17x9 and lighter than theGT3s. IMO they looked better than the GT3s.

BAD ASS TA WS6 Sep 1, 2006 04:36 PM

YO-EL I bet that C5 can't even do a burnout. :jest:

That car looks good with those SSRs. I don't like them as much on the TA. They have a very thin design. It shows too much fo the factory brakes. If that car had some nice big brakes, it would look a lot better.

fenix99 Sep 2, 2006 02:41 PM

dam i have to get pics of my aza z-1's....after seeing the ssr's on that C5, i think imma stick with my AZA's after all....they look awesome
