Default Which tires with my new TC

I recently purchased a 3500/2.5STR torque converter and should have it installed in a few weeks.

From what I can tell most people go with Nitto 555r's for something like this, but they are only rated at 15k miles if you drive like a granny.

How are the 555's? Would they not provide enough grip for the high STR or what? Are they even rated at more than 15k?

I guess I should go ahead and accept that I will have to be spending $300 every 10k miles, but I will go down fighting

my wheels that i got back in Nov came with used 555r's, that had barley any tread visible, and they lasted me all of winter.
