I was detailing the car this weekend and my rim has a crack almost completely through one of the spokes. It is cracked on both sides and you can see where it is dimpling in the center.

I drove it to work today and Hope it does not bust completely.

O.K. I am looking for 4 new rims and was considering Torque Thrust IIs but I need them ASAP and a good price.

Can anyone recommend a good source for these rims????

I think I will haggle some more with discount tire (sponsor). I have the store by me offering the Torque Thrust II for 300.00 a tire but that is a bit high. Especially when 2 of our other sponsors have them listed for 289.00 a tire. Also, I am seriously considering the Smoothies since they are quite a bit cheaper and I am not aware of any difference between the 2 to warrant extra for the Torque Thrust IIs except I think they look the best.

Oh well, felt like I was driving in on a wing and a prayer this morning. I only hope if the one spoke breaks through completely that a bump in the road does not take out the rim and me as well
