Weird Request: Wanted - Stock Ride Height Cars w/ 17"+ Wheels
You heard me folks. If you've got 17" wheels or larger and are still at stock ride height, please post a picture. Those with an SS or Firehawk that have the SLP/Bilstein suspension, you dont count. Going to have to go back to my stock stuff for clearance and want to see what I'm in for. Pro Kit is too low, and until I can sell this stuff and get the money for some Konis up front to lower the car an inch up front and remove the rear isolator to lower the rear, I'm going to be in 4x4 mode again.

Keep 'em coming guys. Eventually I'm going to put Konis on the drop the front an inch and remove the rear isolator, but I need more pics to let me know if I need to do it ASAP or if I can deal with stock height. After being very low for the last three years its going to be tough to go back.

Giving another bump. Some cars I see like Sebastian's, ritz's, and '02 WS6's and think I can deal with stock ride height. Then some cars (no offense guys) like Shane's old setup, and 00firebird's setup make me think the front is just a little too high and the back is way too high. More pics welcomed.

I don't know why, but it sure seems different from car to car. I'd be curious to see if it's just perception, or if there really is a height difference on them...

It's hard to tell. I've seen a lot of F-bodies sit lower than mine and they're on stock shocks/springs and I've seen some that look like they have half a foot of wheel gap.
Also I noticed on another stock height car I saw that was parked like 00firebird he looked like he had ginormous wheel gap.
Here's another pic of my car my fiance took last weekend at the track. Stock 49K mile decarbons and springs. Only suspension/chassis mods I have are a 1LE front swaybar and Spohn STB.

Yours looks pretty good at stock ride height ritz. I think its really going to come down to whether I want to cut my springs or not. I may use SLP/Bilstein shocks all around, cut 2/3 of a coil off the front spring for a slightly lower ride, and take out the rear isolator. On the other hand I might just get Koni SAs for up front, and use uncut stock springs on the lower perch, and remove the rear isolator with stock springs and shocks in the back.
