They will fit, but they will not be optimal. Tire rack lists a 10 inch wheel as the minimum for the Kumho 710. Don't know which tire you are getting but even if a 9.5 inch wheel is listed as the minimum,,, your still not going to be using the tire to it's limit.

Saying that, I'm running a 315 on 10.5 inch wheels. Once again not perfect but it works. I do leave a bit of under used tread surface on the edges due to the tread being pulled together on the too narrow wheels. I will be dropping down to 295s on my next tire change though.

295's do not fit on 9.5" wide wheels . . . 10" minimum recommended width.

I'd go with 285's if I were you but not all 285's are the same width. I know my GSD3's are signifigantly wider than any other brand of the same size.

It may not be recommended, but it will definately fit. I've had 315's on the stock 9" rim for 3 months and never had any problems, no rubbing...etc on stock ride height. But I soon came to realize that 315's on a 9" rim probably wasn't a good idea, so I took them off.

I would recommend 285s max on a 9.5 inch wheel. Yes, you can put a 295 on there but a 285 should cost less and handle as well or better than a 295.

I agree with the two last posts .... they are true. I also had 315's on a 9in... (not 9.5) and it rubbed, and felt wobbly at high speed turns... so went with 275/40/17's

I have 295/35ZR18 Bridgestone SO2's on my 18X9.5's and they look great on them. The do not buldge out any noticable amount and have done great.

I didn't know there ever was a 295 option for a 17" wheel. All I've ever seen was the 285 skip to 315, nothing in between.

Yes, come to think of it, I've only seen them in auto cross tires...
I guess that answers your question, 285's it is...

Yep, the only 295 I've seen for a 17 was Kumhos V710.
