Default 315/35/17's fit WS6 wheel?

Will 315/35/17's fit on the stock 17 x 9 WS6 wheel? Seems like a lot of tire for only 9 inches of rim.

Not really, it will be bulged out. You can physically fit it on there, but due to the bulging, you get about the same footprint on the ground as a 275 tire. Most of the people here feel it is too dangerous and do not recommend it.

Some people have had the factory rim widened to 10.5-11" to fit them, though.

I've seen some in person and the smaller rim really makes the whole tire look smaller. If you want to have that wide look in the rear, I'd suggest sticking to the 275 rear tire and using some spacers to push the rear rims out about an inch. Something like this:

A pair runs about $70.

There's an E-bay store:

You just have to get the right size to fit your needs.

The stock 17" rims are only 9" wide.
