Default painting insides of SS 10 spokes??

i recently bought a set of the 2002 SS 10 spoke wheels in silver for a killer price.

my goal is to have the insides painted (or powdercoated) black to mimic the 35th anniversary wheels.

has anyone done this before?
or does anyone know how to go about doing it?

i am currently trying pt get prices from some paint and body people, but im sure thats gonna cost a bunch. and the powdercoater i know locally is suffering from back injuries so thats out of the question.

so if i could do the job myself, does anyone have any tips about how to do it?

any info would be greatly appreciated

thanks in advance!

westwood company sells kits to powdercoat it yourself, but you will need an oven beisdes the one you cook with b/c baking the powdercoat lets off poisonous gasses......just an idea?

I'm right there with ya. I have a pewter z and i have the painted 10spokes. i've had them for quite a few years now. I want to do something different with them. I was thinking of painting them myself. like you said, inside and side of spokes black. cause the insides get really dirty and its a PIA to keep them clean.
