Default Anyone Ever Powder Coat Their Prostars Black?

I would love to powdercoat a set of front skinnies or prostars all around, here is a pic of my current drag setup. Do you think I could put some 15x3.5 Prostars powdercoated black with a polished lip and pull it off? I am about to so the same thing wiht these wheels.....16x8

I was planning on doing that when I got mine. I think it would look sick. Go for it.

Funny, this very idea has been on my mind the last few days also. Just picked up some 16x8 wheels with ET Streets and was thinking a set of Prostars would be the closest matching drag wheel that is affordable, and then thought about powdercoating both black to match. Funny how that works. Still dont know if I want to go cheap or get a full set of Bogarts though.

When you have a H/C Package abd gears in the way....your kinda at a loss with money...I think it will look real cool, and the black will hide the major differences, not to mention once I use up the tires I can just get the Prostars in the rear to match....
