I've gotta say the GS-D3 is one of the best gripping street tires I've ever had. Drag radials will have better stick, though I don't know how well they'd compare in the handling department. You won't get as many miles on a DRs though. Same with any competition compound tire. I've also never had a performance tire that came close to matching the GS-D3s in wet environments either. Whether it's just wet pavement or actual standing water, driving my car in the rain doesn't bother me in the least.

I've had the GS-D3's a good 10k miles.....And average driven....Only 8 or 9 burnouts on them at the track....they probably still have about 10k on life as well

Just don't hit turns at like 25-30 mph.....and don't burnout everywhere and they should.....They are a hard tire and hook real good....I like them but Hear good things elsewhere I like em though
