315's

I bought 315 Eagle f1 GS-D3's for my z28 and 10k miles on them the thread has about 5-6k left.....I cannot rotate them because the fronts are 275....Any recommendations on my next

SLO POK 98 Aug 13, 2005 09:25 PM

Unless they say on the outside "MOUNT THIS SIDE OUT" you can rotate them from side to side. I do this with my tires.

Hope this helps you out alittle.

You can rotate GS-D3s side to side. It is an symmetrical unidirectional tread pattern

spy2520 Aug 13, 2005 10:46 PM

Wow, i always thought they only worked in one direction.

z28C4maro82z Aug 14, 2005 12:52 PM

Thxs I might do that to keep the life of them up....Also any recommedations on what to go next.....Any really cheap really outstanding drag radials???? I hear they are extremely good but wear quickly......Not sure on what to do

um no itsnt sorry...its a left right tire...youd have to break it down to and flip it if you want to put it on the other side

I'd put the same tires on. They are one of the best street radials out there.

ZEEMAN Aug 15, 2005 09:35 AM

Thats wut i meant smart guy. I thought people had enough sense to understand that. You might have to be a retard to put 315s up front

Not really. Road race guys run 315's up front all the time.

And even if it is a directional tread pattern, you can still run them on the other side by flipping the tires and mounting on the rims the other way.

ZEEMAN Aug 15, 2005 02:11 PM

Well I am pretty sure he is not a road racer, if he was I doubt he would be in here asking us about what tires he should get. No shit you can flip them side to side, I already said that

I love my GS-D3s so far. I havent done a balls out launch but they grab in second pretty well. I have heard great things about the BFG DRs. Of course you could always go with the Nitto 555r
