16' ET's
 

Is anyone using the 16” Mickey Thompson ET’s? If so what kind of 60’ times are you getting?

I noticed a set at Speed Inc and became curious.

I’m currently using 16” Nitto Dr’s with a best of 1.7 60’ if the track is sprayed. If not I might as well be on normal tires.

Our local track has a street legal fun night and they do no track prep. The Dr’s rarely get under 2.0 and are usually more like 2.2. This sucks because you get beat buy lesser cars with Mickey Thompson ET’s.

I can race the next day with the track prepped and always get a 1.8. Of course this also shows up major in the elapsed times.

Streets or DR's? I put on some 255/50/16 MT DR's and best 60' is a 1.85 and that's babying it so I don't break the rear. There's more in it, I just need a 12 bolt to take advantage of it. The only time I broke them loose was when I did a launch off the rev limiter. I ran on 2 different tracks in around 40-50 degree weather and they just hook. I didn't think the track prep at the first track was that great but my tires hooked with no problems.
