TT2's+Baer=?

I'm getting the TT2's for my maro, does anybody have the Baer GT+ kit with them? does it fit? any pics?
Thanks.

I don't think they will fit. The calipar sticks out too far and hits on the spoke of the wheel. At least that's what I hear

Thx 01 Red.

Anybody else knows?

17's do not fit over the C5 13" brake convesion, so it is very safe to say they will not fit over the Baer GT kit.

Now if you went with 18" TT2's they do fit.

i have the baer gt+ brakes with 17x9.5 tts and it works.however you cannot have weights on the inside of the wheels.there just isn't enough clearance between the caliper and wheel for those stick-on weights.

Do they scrap with new pads? That seems real tight. Where do you have your weight at

jonnyc Dec 7, 2005 06:34 PM

those pads are pretty new maybe 1000 miles on them.i don't have any weights on the front.you can probably have weights on the inside edge, but i'm not sure how they balance wheels.its a very tight fit.i can barely fit a pencil between the caliper and the spoke of the wheel.

Do you have any other pictures?

you could probably put stick on weights on the middle of the wheel and some hammer on ones on the inside lip...there are many ways to balance wheels
