And please post why you decided to go with that rim over you stock rim.. Or if you still have your stock rim explain why you did not want to change (if you chose not to)

Stock rims due to a complete lack of money.

I have TTIIs 17x11 in the back and 17x9 up front

skywalkrNCSU 12-09-2005 03:48 PM

no $$ = stock rims

I have a set of aftermarket 18's (street) AND a set of Draglites (track)

I hate the stock rims..those were the first things to come off my car

I have 17" ZR1's with the spokes painted black.

For the winter I have 16" ZR1's but I haven't painted the spokes black because who cares in the winter.

Why did I choose these over the stock 16" five spoke rims? Simple, they aren't expensive but really add to the car.

Have chrome 18x9.5 Z06s all the way around. And I 'went' with them because they were already on the car when I bought it.

Black Zr1's but 17 X 11's in the rear.

I have TT II's. No better looking wheel in my opinion.

LiquidFire350 12-09-2005 10:38 PM

17" SS, bought off Ebay, $300, i needed new rims after hydroplaning anyways

I still have the stock 16x8 rims on my Formula, but I have a set of OEM 17x9 SS 10-spokes sitting waiting in my garage for when my tires get too worn (which will be very soon).
I got the SS rims because I love the design, and I got the set for $300 when SLP was trying to get rid of them. It'll be nice to run a fatter tire too.

17x9.5 chrome C5 replicas. Why? Because my stock painted 16" twisties were ugly. Also a little bit too small.

I'm not a huge fan of the fancy stuff (and neither is the wallet,) so I sprung for something that was a bit more stock-ish, but still improved the looks all around.

Kind of confusing poll...

We have the "stock" 17" Chrome ZR1's... Although I may be trading for a set (still chrome) with 17X11 in the rear for some 315s...

Pics in sig also.

Swang 12-10-2005 10:08 AM

stock rims since i really have no reason to buy new since these are 9" wide.

thunderdan74 12-10-2005 10:24 AM

It would be pointless to replace my chrome Firehawk rims for something else. They match the car perfectly.
