i use mother's billet polish once every month or two on them. in between the polishes, I simply use Windex (ammonia free) and microfiber to wipe them off.. shine like a mirror; then again I never drive down dirt roads. they hadn't been polished in 2 months when this was taken:

With TT2s it's easy to keep them looking good as long as you polish them at least once a month. I like to polish by hand with Mother's billet polish. I didn't like the power ball when I used it. I didn't expect too much from it but I thought I would try it anyway. I've also used a polishing wheel on a drill and that worked really well. If you have spots that don't want to polish up then you can always wet sand the area or the whole wheel. I've wet sanded my wheels and they have turned out looking like new. Depending on how bad it is 2000 grit should be enough. I've used 400-2000 on one of my wheels that was really bad.

well let me tell you the situation and that might help out....i bought these wheels from toddss and they looked brand new when i got them...i put them on friday and went to the beach for the weekend...it rained all weekend and i came home sunday to wash the car...i dont know if its rain, brake dust, maybe salt air or what but its like little water blemishes....anyways i didnt know if there was something i could put on them to get it off...i guess just more polishing....with the wet sanding what all is involved...im new at polishing so i dont want to mess my wheels up...also do you apply anything after you polish the wheel...ive heard people using car wax but like i said im new at this and dont want to mess my wheels up...

thanks for the help

When I had them I always cleaned them by hand. One of the reasons I got rid of them. I used never dull. It's in a little silver can at walmart. It works wonders. It just took forever since I didn't have a powerball. Try to wash your rims with soap and water to get all the gunk off then use the power ball or try the never dull first.

To give you an idea of what it takes to wet sand the wheel just mix up some soap and water in a spray bottle. Spray the sand paper and the wheel and start sanding. Keep spraying the wheel so that it stays wet. Once you finish wet sanding with the 2000 grit paper just polish them up with mothers billet polish by hand and once you wipe the polish off it should look good.
