How are evo's to clean?

I am looking into getting rid of my pain in the a$$ polished wheels and wanting something easier to clean. I really like the styling of the Evo wheels and was just wondering how they are to clean? Thanks.

It will all depend on the finish you choose...from my experience, a polished wheel is gonna be a bitch to take care of no matter what. Mine certainly are, and that's why I daily drive on my old chrome ZR1s.

What would look better on my car hyperdark or hyperblack? They said that the center has a good few coats of clear and the lip is polished. Do you think they will be that bad to clean with just a polished lip?

Hmmmmmmmm...there'd have to be some photochopin going on before I could decide. As for the polished lip, the lips on mine seem to be the biggest magnets for all the grime, so I dunno. At least it would be a smaller area to polish.

Its gonna be a while before the rims in my sig are back on my car for any type of permanent stay.

I would think since the lip is pretty much a flat smooth surface it shouldnt be as bad to clean as my polished Z06 wheels. Why is it gonna be a while for you to put your rims back on?

Because daily driving my car in Florida weather doesn't keep my wheels shiny :(

If i am not mistaken on the Evo's they call them a "polished Lip" but I think its more of a Machined metal finish.
