295's fit trouble? I was looking at putting 295's on a 9.5? I have the stock wheels on my car now. I believe I have 275/35/17s now. I wnat to make sure I have the same height tire with my 18's as I did with my 17's. Also, does a 295 fit a 9.5 alright?a 9??no rubbing issues etc. I wanna make sure I dont get a small overall height after this. THey hava a 38 mil offset. Thanks |
You should have a 275/40/17, i dont think they make a 275/35/17, but i may be wrong. I'd go and I did go with a 285/40/17 for mine, they fit well, but honestly I wish I went with another 275, it just doesnt look right, now if the sidewall was 35% opposed to 40 then maybe. Right now your sidewall height per side should be around 5.5 cm, with a 285/40/17 it'll be around 5.7 cm per side, if you really want to go wider go with a 285, not much more, or just buy a wider rim/get yours widened. Sure people are going to argue me, but they have tire sizes for a reason. |
1. A 295, does NOT fit a 9" or evne a 9.5" wheel . . . 2. There is no 295/??ZR17 made . . . . |

But still, cant get a overall circumference close enough to stock. |

yea, used it, found my flaws last night, later after I posted this.............. |
A 295/35ZR18 on a 10" or 10.5" wheel fits our cars just fine out back. That is what I run. |
