Do TTII's Run Large??? Ok so I just got my supposably 17X9.5" and 17X11" combo of American Racing TTII's through TOMZWHEELS.... great service by the way, either ways I told them that I wanted this combo and now I measured them out and the supposably 9.5" is actually 10.5"s and 11" is 12"s. Not to mention that the 17" is also 18.5"s as well. So did I get the wrong order which I'm assuming or is there just something I don't know about. |
ok well I'll be calling TOMZWHEELS tomar if they're open.... if not then mon. was just seeing whats the deal... im guessing they somehow screwed up my order...   |
Sounds like it might be that you have measured the wrong points. Like the wheel width. One should measure the inside of the wheel not outside to out side. Just a shot in the dark. |
Those are the correct wheels. Measurements on wheels are done in relation to where the tire fits. A 17" wheel is made for a tire that has a 17" diameter in the center. Then on the wheel you have a bead that keeps the tire on and you have to measure inside that bead. The same thing on the measurement for the width. The measurements you mention would be right for a 17x11 and 17x9.5 wheel. If you have any more question give me a call Monday. Thanks for your purchase and I hope you enjoy your wheels. Tom |
