I was in your same situation about 2 months ago, I say Nittos. I bought some and there decent. They wont hook as well as the other guys like bfg or mickey thompson and I guess thats why i got them. I mean there not bad but the best way i can describe them is that there inbetween a street tire and a drag radial. And you can run them down to 15 psi, and also are the only milage rated drag radial "15000". It usually blows the rear end when you dead hook and you wont have to worry about that unless its real hot and your runnin them at 15 psi.

Well we keep talking about traction i just got a UMI subrames and torque arm and about to get a girdel im not really worried about how much tire millage i get out of the tire my 60 footers re like 2.2 and i need to get them down alot into like 1.9 1.8 thats why i need somethign inbetween a street and a drag so maybe a nitto would be good for me

If you drag I think you need to consider biting the bullet and going with a 12 bolt or 9" rear. It is not a matter of if you will break your rear it is a matter of when. I don't drag my M6 and never do burnouts but will goose it from time to time and with only 25k my rear is whinning. Some guys will tell you they have run on the stock rear for many seasons with no issues but they are in the minority IMHO. The rear in our cars is junk pure and simple.
