I think I found the perfect rims for my Z, maybe...

I am in love with these. Going by the "Does this fit" sticky, I have estimated that the 17x9.5's will fit on the rear with the 7" backspacing.. but.. I seem the need a 1/2 inch more backspacing on either the 17x7 or 17x8's for the front? Are my calculations WAY off? (these are offered in max 5" and 5.5" backspacing) Am I stuck putting 17x9.5's up front too?
I really really tried the sticky, even used a mm to inch conversion chart I found online (says 38mm = 1.5 inch and 56mm = 2.2 inch) but I'm not sure if it will work. I'm such a newb at this stuff

Backspacing isn't as cut and dry as offset. So its hard to say that 7 is perfect, but its really close. I really think 17x9.5 all the way around would be the simplest if you ask me... You could even rotate your tires for better wear.

thanks I'll probably go with the 17x9.5's all around then. The car is Black, whisper mod headlights, ash tint all around. Was thinking about replacing the black Z28 fender badges with the '69 camaro fender badges. I'm about to install a head/cam kit so the point about rotating tires is well taken. I guess I could live with a little more rolling resistance if I have to.
