do they make chrome tt2's in 18s? do they make chrome tt2's in chrome in 18s cuz i really want 18" rims? |
Yes,but only the spokes are chrome, the lip is polished I was going to go that route, but the extra 400 for it,without the whole wheel being chrome wasn't worth it to me.I have had polished wheeels on street rods for years,I'm used to polishing them. |
where did u get get your wheels and how much were there and what was the width on them? thanks for all the help |
18s are special order and gtake a tad longer to get. Do not waste your money on chrome |
Why is chrome a waste of money? It is 100x easier to maintain, especially on a daily driver. Water spots OWN torque thrust and polished wheels, chrome cleans up easily with windex. |
IMO the chrome on polished looks like ass. Epsecially over time. Unless they have changed and are now doing the entire rim, think I miight have read that somewhere but the chrome job was bad. If you can get them all chrome go for it, chrome>polished. Day after i got my polished wheels they were in powdercoat |

They are 18x10 and 17x8 and look great,I wanted the big and little street rod look for mine.I don't like 17x9.5's on these cars.and IMO the 18's on the rear look better than 17's I have them on BFG kdw2's 245/40 and 295/35. non-sponsor link removed by Admin |
chrome would be easier no doubt,I'm used to cleaning polished thou so it's not are big deal. |
if the wheel is all polished what do u think about all polished wheels like the c6 z06 rims? |
The only OEM style wheel I like is a C-5 Zo6 wheel, other wise might as well go custom wheels. |
Talk to TOMZWHEELS <- hes a sponsor and last time I checked hes got a special on them. 18's might have to be custom ordered, especially if they are going to be chromed and also, the only thing chromed on the TTII's are the center cap and the spokes. The barrel and the lip would still be polished and there is member on here somewhere that had them done and after about two years they looked like ass b/c the chrome (like NINEBALL says is very easy to clean) was still all shinny and new, however the polished (requires to be polished) was not as shinny and werent to easy to be cleaned without keeping them clean to start with especailly if they are your DD wheels. Hope this helps. |
