Default Goodyear GS-D3 tires

I wanted to get some for my stock wheels, but I read on this site a couple days ago that those tires are going to be discontinued. Is so, when will this a happen? I have some Falken tires right now with 90% tread, but If they're going to discontinue those tires then I'm going to buy them ASAP!

This sucks. Hopefully the replacements will be better just as the GSD3s were better than the GSCs.

I have not heard about them being discontinued. I just got a set. The guy at the tire shop was telling me that Good Year is going on strike so there will be low availability on there tires. Better get them before they do.

There IS a strike going on among Goodyear workers. I don't think it's affecting warehouses, so if the tires are already in storage to be shipped out it should be ok, but I wouldn't expect Goodyear to be making many new tires for a while.

GS-D3s are still the same price as they were last December when I got a set. And they haven't been marked as discontinued at retailers, yet.

There is a national back order on specific sizes (I was originally going with GS-D3's, but there is an indefinate ETA on 315/35/17's so I went with KD's). The strike is whats affecting production, so it'll be awhile before all sizes are available again, I love my KD's though!

I have heard rumors of that. But I belive the it was like the GSC>F1>F1 v2>gsd3.....I do think its a good tire, but for the price/peformance/miles per tire I belive there are other good options as well.

I think you have your <'s and >'s mixed up. Did you mean GSC<F1<F1 v2<gsd3?
