front skinny to go with MT 325/50/15

I just ordered some bogarts and MT 325/50/15 DR for my 99 z28 and am looking for tires for the street/strip for my 15x4 fronts. The car is not a daily driver and will not see the rain. I do plan on driving it some on the street including 2hr one drives to the track. Whats a good tire to use? I have heard differnt things from differnt people.

I know they're a little on the heavy side, but how about some M/T Sportman fronts, the 8-ply ones? If you're going to be driving to the track with them on and cruising around on them, I'd go with a tire with a proper load rating.

I had good luck with my Kumho Powerstar 165R15s. Like $24-26 a piece too.

I was looking at those. Im just worried if they can handle the weight when the front end comes back down.

Hmmm..I didn't have to worry about that. If your're pulling the tires I'd go with the 8-ply Mickey T's.

I use the MT S/R radial 26.00x6.00-15. It's a 4 ply Polyester/fiberglass radial. It's rated at 990lbs @ 35psi. They weigh in only slightly heavier than the 26X7.50-15 8-ply sportsmen's (19lbs vs 20lbs). I didn't weigh them myself. Those are printed specs on them.

My car weighs in at 3850lbs street trim and 3730-50lbs race. The tires don't bulge, are stable at speed, and I haven't had any issues with them.
