Kumho ECSTA V700
I searched and found 305/30/18's in the Kumho ECSTA V700. I didnt want the hassle of 315's with the BFH mods and rolled lips. I figure if 315's fit pretty good then 305's should be fine. Now, would an 18X10.5 hold that tire?
So who has used these tires?? Are they good. Thanks for any info.

I think you'll find the V700s run a little wider than an ordinary street tire of the same size so you may run into the BFH mod even with the 305.
When you ask if the tires are 'good', it all depends on what you're doing with them. They're a decent autocross tire (the V710 is much better) but definitely not good for the street unless you like replacing tires every other month...literally...they're a competition tire, not a street tire. They're 'legal' for the street only for classification purposes.
Hope this helps!

Also, being a road race/autocross tire with a stiffer sidewall than street tire (let alone a drag radial), don't expect a GREAT launch/60' out of them (if that was your intention).

Im not worried about tread life, my car had about 600 miles put on it last year. I only weekend drive it. And with my work schedule, I dont even get to play on weekends much. As far as intentions, I think that getting a good launch does matter the most. So, for a 10.5 rim I guess if I cant find a 305 I will step down to a 295.

From my exprience, if you want a good launch, choose another tire. I have the 295/35/r18 and I break traction on normal driving. These tires are fun, because you can spin the **** out of them and they still have tread but they don't hook for **** on a launch, at least in my car. They also seem to run a little wider since my fronts are 265 and they look wider than my 275 Nitto 555R's.
