Default Oh man...Did I mess up? Any info would help.

I just bought some rims online. I think I messed up on the offset for my SS.

Here is my info: 1998 Camaro SS.

Here is the information on my rims:

Fronts: 19x8 with a 40mm offset. ( 1 3/4" lip)

Rears: 19x9.5 with a 45mm offset. (3 inch lip)

Bolt Pattern (mm): 5/120

ANY info would help me. I was wondering if these offset's would make the rims stick outside of the fenders? I did a search and read that the camaro's & firebird's come with different fender lines. Will this wheel combo sit even? I would hate to get rid of these rims. I also have DSM springs going on the SS too. That is why I would like to know If the rims will tuck under the fender and not outside of it?

Did I mess up? I'll be truthful, I saw the price on them and thought of the offset later.

Help fellow LS1Tech members. Thanks everyone. Sam

I'm not sure, I just know our official bolt pattern info:

5 x 4.75" or 5 x 120.65 mm

8" width would work with an +38 to +55 offset

9.5" width would work with a +38 to +56 offset

read the guide at the top.

looks like those are for the GTO

wrong bolt pattern for the GTO,
check the hub bore too,

factory for factory, you "can" put F-Body wheels on a GTO, but you can't put GTO wheels on the F-Body (without boreing out the hub)

I want to thank Finite1, KrautBurner, and Xsta Z 28 for all the info. Could I fix the bolt pattern problem with hub rings Xsta Z 28? If I remember correctly, you had 19's HPR5's on your car, but sold them. I love those rims and bought a set close to that design. They are a simple clean 5 spoke rims in a chrome finish. I got the set for $759 shipped to my house without taxes because I bought them out of state. Now I have to look for a good set of tires in the 19 inch family. Can anyone recommend a brand that is good in dry/wet conditions? Thanks everyone! Sam
