best 315's

i plan on buying 315 for my 98 z and i plan on going with black zr1 with it what is the best tire that doesnt spin with 315's in the rear??

EvilBLK02TA Feb 18, 2007 02:36 PM

Spin's.....all depends on what mods you have and how hard you drive the car. This topic has been beaten to death and I still havent decided on what tires to run on my TTII 17x11 either. Most popular choices are BfGoodrich and Goodyear. I would recomment to :search:

IMO-

Track = Mickey Thompson

Street = BFG

And by that I mean "streetable". Don't drive these on snow, ice, in the rain, off-road, through a field, ok you get the idea. You will get more miles out of them than the MT's.

Those are your choices for "Drag Radials" here.

I hear a lot of people rave about the Goodyear F1-GS D3, I know the BFG KD is a great tire. But they are not cheap.

the goodyear isnt cheap either, in fact it is probably the most expensive 315 common to this site, from what i gather they are actually the widest 315, no word on the actual tread width, but when compared to other 315s the have been reported as being wider...

I dont think M/T's are out in a 315 yet.

the gsd3 are wider .i have them on my ss.love the tires .ride great.

purdueranger Feb 19, 2007 10:34 AM

Nittos last the longest on the street. Downside is that you have to heat them up a good amount at the track.

MetallicBluews6 Feb 19, 2007 10:40 AM

Nittos.

Nasty99SS Feb 19, 2007 07:44 PM
