ws6 wheels on 95 trans-am

I recently purchased a set of ws-6 wheels off ebay. Today I tried to put them on, but they would not go over the hub on the rear rotor. I only tried these on the rear axle. I am not sure what year car they came off of. They have the black ws-6 center caps. Are different years different sizes? Has anyone else had this problem?
Thanks for any help.

any stock 4th gen (93-02) wheel should be interchangable with each other... maybe you have some kind of aftermarket axles that i not direct replacement... i have moser axles in my car but they are direct replacement so no problems... post up if you figure it out...

should work fine

LT-1 cars the rear axel hub button is bigger than the LS-1 cars . . . Why?? Dunno.

Just need to ream the center hole of the wheel a tad bit bigger, or grind the hub button down.

A VERY common problem.

As stated above. If you want to put 98 up rims on 97 or later you have to file down the inside lip on the wheels you will being putting on the back. I did this for my 95 when i put 00 wheels on it. It really is simple and painless. I used a rat tail file and it shaved right off and took all of 10 minutes. Doesnt hurt the rim either.

yupyupyup. gotta file down the inside of the wheel. keep doing it until it fits like a normal wheel. dont do what i did. i just bolted the things up, and went for a test drive. they were wobbling like crazy. just went to lowes, got a few grinding wheels for the drill and took a little out of it. wasnt that hard.

go to sears (or hardware store) and get a 3 inch diameter 80 grit flap wheel:

put it on the end of a drill, ream out the hole in your wheels for a minute, test fit, on to next wheel.

Easy.........
