After a couple thousand miles on my 555Rs I started to notice little cracks/slits on my sidewalls as well on my rear wheels. It kinda looked like someone took a razor blade and made little slices on the tires. They were pretty worn by then so I didn't bother to contact Nitto because I didn't think they would do anything about it. With yours being so new I would definitely contact Nitto if possible and see what they say.

By the way not too long ago someone posted something similar to your issue maybe they had a bad batch of tires or somethig.
