Default Good quality and price for 315's

Hey fellow techers need some help from you guys. I have the zr-1 wheel setup on my car. 275/40/zr17's up front and 315/35/zr17's outback. I've got a brand new set of g-force ta kdw's for the front. They cost me $194 apiece from summit. My question is does anyone know where I can get a set of good tires for the rear for under or around $250 apiece. I'm wanting something comparable to the ta kdw's and don't say Sumitomos that's whats on the car know and they don't hookup worth a crap. Thanks for any help.

www.tirerack.com has the KD for $260.
Or you could go with a Nitto or BFG drag radial if tread life doesn't matter and you don't plan to drive in the rain.

Yeah I know I've seen them too. I currently have the Sumitomos in the rear. they're decent as a daily driver but there no good at hooking up. There to hard of a tire for my liking.

I daily drive Nitto DR's.. I've had them in the rain like 10 times so far this year. I really don't see what people are talking about with them being undriveable in the rain. Actually I think their a decent tire in the rain. I wouldn't race try racing in the rain but they're definetly driveable. You can get them on ebay for around $320 shipped to your door I think, well I did a few months ago. Oh, and they hook like a SOB.

the nittos are fine in the rain until the tread starts to wear a little, and then things get interesting.

yea that's true, but the nittos a dr and will wear a whole lot quicker than any street tire so it happens a hell of a lot quicker. (depending on how you drive)

if you get any dr, I would not be driving in the rain much for too long. but the nitto is the most DD friendly dr around. (if such a thing exists)
