Default What do you think about this tire??

I all about running the cheapest tires! I have always loved my Sumitomo HTRZ II!!! Well now that I'm in Missouri I cant run summer tires they sucked in cold weather. So all the all season tire look like A/T 4x4 tires Well I found these for $75.00 each and they have the look of a summer performance tire but all season They also have it in a 285 for 100$

Mastercraft Avenger ZHP 275/40 ZR17 All season tire with Speed W: the speed capability of this tires are up to 168 mph

Tires are the final connection between your car and the road. And you want cheap tires? I would go with the best tires.

I had some of those on my car when I first got it. They are gone now, as fast as I saved up money for new tires. I guess though for an all season tire they're probably the best you'll find.

Also check out the Sumitomo HTRZ40, my buddy has a 472/434 M6 98 TA and according to him they stick better than the others, but then again everyone has an opinion. If your not on a budget then roll with somthing else but for affordable tires that you are like me are gonna burn them up anyway I say get em.

Dan I wouldn't suggest anything other than dedicated snow tires for winters around here. You can get around decently with all seasons but its just not worth the hassle when it comes right down to it. I went through last winter here in KC (Lees Summit actually) with 245/45zr17 Hankook all seasons and it wasn't fun. Next winter the truck is getting dedicated snow tires and wheels so I won't have to worry about it at all.

i personally wouldn't bother with an all-season tire....just find someone on here selling their set of stock wheels, they can usually be found for pretty cheap.....then put some dedicated winter tires on them for when the weather sucks, and keep a nice set of summer tires on your main set of wheels....after all, it's about to be summer, anyway, so hopefully you won't have to change them too often (if at all) until this coming winter.....
