Default Cleaning dirty a** rims!

I bought my car just recently and it didn't have the locking lug nut tool in the car. The guy I bought it from ordered a new one for me and it wasn't the right one. So I just recently got the rims off for the first time and they are pretty dirty on the inside. Quite a bit of brake dust and grim. The are polished Boyd Coddington smoothie II's. What can use use that is strong enough to get all the crap off and not hurt the rims. I am going to clean them up the best I can but today but want to find something that will help out the process.

i dont see why you'd want the inside to look like the outside, but I cleaned mine with a shop wrag and soap and it cleaned it right up!

I was impressed with Eagle's All-in-one Wheel and Tire Cleaner. But for the inside I might bust out the AutoKleen Paint Remover.

50/50 mix of Simple Green and water. Agitate with a tire brush. Rinse THOROUGHLY. Just do a little at a time.

X2

I have a jug of Simple Green Automotive. Works great on just about anything without harm.
