tt2's on a 98 z28

this has probably been asked before but i am buying some torque thrusts and want to know what width i can fit with everything else being stock on my suspension, i want 18inch diameter with 9.5 in front and 10.5 in rear, and also dont know what ofset to get, i havent had my camaro for long and i dont have that much time to research things about it.

they don't sell the 18's in that size. 18x8 and 18x10s are your choices. I am running maximum backspacing on the fronts (18x8), and a +40 offset on the rear 18x10s (forget what backspacing that is)

how do you like the wheels the way that you bought them, would you recommend same for mine or any regrets size wise?

I love the rears but take note I had to roll the fenders a bit so they wouldn't rub over really good bumps. I wish I could have gotten 18x9 for the front but the 18x8's are just fine. I'm running a 295/35 rear and a 245/40 front tire and nice part is that the rears clear the bump stop so I can still jack up from one side if needed rather than from the center. Not a big deal either way but I have small jack.

i dont think you understand. you cant get 9's in 18's. you have 18x8 or 18x10. thats it.

well according to every site ive looked at, the black torque thrusts i want say 18x9 and 18x10, but hey i havent bought them before so maybe they are all wrong and you are right, http://www.buywheelstoday.com/products/?ID=3423, http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/store...0002_763969_-1, but hey who really knows

bww3588 Jun 18, 2007 10:12 PM

no your wrong and everyone else is right. thoes are TTM's not TTII's. your looking at a completly different wheel than what you are asking about. let me make it clear.

ahem, TTII's DO NOT come in 18x9.

18x10 or 18x8. thats it.

do not come on here not knowing what you are talking about and try to tell people they are wrong. Blackbirdws6 already said if he could have gotten 18x9's he would have, but he didnt because they dont make them in 18x9, only 18x8.

Tomzwheels is where I got them from and my experience was a good one so I would certainly recommend him. As said above, TT2's in the 18" size only come in 8" and 10" widths. Not really sure why they don't have the 18x9 but the handling of the car is still improved over my stocker 16's with the 50 series tires.

ok guess its different wheel, but really doesnt matter that much, tomzwheels ill have to try them out see what they have, i really like my car but havent had much time to sit down and plan things out yet. and calm down im not here to fight and i dont like to get in arguments on forums anyways no one ever wins people just get pissed off, different wheel my mistake, just misunderstood.

the M's and the 2's are very similar. both look killer on an F-body. why dont you post pictures of your car and let us help you out?
